    [PB5000IR]

    Brand: Aavara

    HDMI OVER IP PROFESSIONAL BROADCASTER

*This item is a pair, one PB5000 sender and one PB5000 IR type receiver*

The Aavara PB5000 system provides ultra high quality HDMI over IP video broadcasting for both AV and Digital Signage applications. It supports 1 to 1, 1 to many and multicast (multiple sources to many displays). Using a gigabit ethernet network Multicasting can be achieved without the need for an expensive managed switch, all that is required is to simply set the dip-switch on each sender to a unique channel number and set each receiver to match the required channel. The receivers come in two sorts; dip switch type (for receivers that don't need frequent changes, digital signage etc) and an IR verion for a quicker, remote controlled change.

*Note that if multiple receivers are used, the Sender will only accept IR feedback from the first Receiver to be powered up (first receiver it "handshakes" with). This is because the first powered receiver will usually be in the room you are viewing from and you would not normally want other rooms to then control what you are viewing. If you do require IR from every receiver then you can add this in the form of IR Anywhere modules (to keep it all on the IP network or a wireless solution such as the Powermid.

Excellent, excellent bit of kit. Easy to install & no setup required. No issues with remote control access but we don\'t use multiple receivers at the same time. Quality of picture brilliant - I can watch, pause etc hi def SKY and hard drive PVR in three rooms with only one Sky box and a PVR! Highly recommended
